Tucked away in Richmond, Adarra delivers an unforgettable dining experience that blends warm hospitality with a menu designed to impress. From the moment we walked in, we were met with a welcoming atmosphere, setting the tone for an evening of outstanding food and service. Our server, Lily, was exceptional, she was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the dishes, making our experience even more enjoyable. We started with the three-cheese plate, which came with crackers and their house made blood orange marmalade and honey. All of which was delicious and an excellent way to start the night. The octopus and potatoes were a standout, perfectly tender with a smoky char that balanced beautifully with the richness of the potatoes. My favorite dish of the evening. The pork belly and beans brought deep, comforting flavors, with the pork belly’s crisp edges giving way to melt-in-your-mouth decadence. The prawns and bisque were another highlight, plump, succulent prawns bathed in a velvety bisque that was pure indulgence. To finish, the cheesecake was delicious, light yet luscious, with just the right touch of sweetness. Beyond the incredible food, Adarra’s cozy ambiance and welcoming staff make it a must-visit. Whether you’re a Richmond local or just passing through, this restaurant is a culinary destination worth experiencing. We’ll definitely be back!

The new location for Adara is beautiful. Dark wood panel walls and cozy lighting. Because they source their food as locally as possible, the menu is quite small but I have always been able to get dishes that were perfectly prepared and the olive oil shortbread cake with strawberries and cream was the best I have ever had.

If you go and there is lamb stew, order it twice. One of the best dishes I have had in a very long time. Drink menu is well balanced and each drink brought it own complementary elements to each bite. Excited to get back! Oh...and the Basque cheesecake? It’s a must. Trust me, you may be full but you have room to split this with your table.

Amazing atmosphere. The cocktail and wine list worked well with the menu. The fire/smoke used when cooking is thoughtfully incorporated into the menu.

The new location is spectacular. Loved the prawns dish. Cocktails were well made. loved the octopus and potatoes dish. Savory dish with octopus cooked soft not rubbery and dry like most places. They take pride in the details of the culinary experience, which is very much appreciated where the dollar is tight these days.

Outstanding food with lots of options. Very shareable plates and that's how you should enjoy it because that way you get to taste all the different flavors. The wine experts are very friendly and know how to cater to what you're looking for. Great cocktail menu too. Atmosphere was quiet, but not too formal. Perfect and casual. The prices were also fine.

You know how it feels when everything comes together to create the perfect experience? That’s Adarra. We had a glorious evening in their warm and inviting space. Great vibe, made even better by the on point service. Thank you, Lillie and Lyne! Interesting and international selection of wines, curated by Lyne. Our group tried almost every dish on the menu - and remarkably zero disappointments. You absolutely can’t miss the pintxo appetizer - delightfully spicy pickled taste treats on a skewer, with a side shot of Sherry. Amazing. The whole trout was cooked to perfection, which is not the norm for most places. They will debone at the table for you, but of course we did it ourselves for our (and Lillie’s) entertainment. The giant prawns were outstanding, also prepared flawlessly. Get the Basque cheesecake for dessert - subtle flavor, great consistency. Adarra is among the best restaurants in richmond - exceptional atmosphere, service and food. We will definitely be back!

We went there for our anniversary and they were amazing. The food has to be one of the best in Richmond! I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu! They even offered us a free dish for our celebration. We had a later reservation which worked out for the better because there were less people (and less noise). It’s a small space, so it can get a bit loud when it’s full. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some upscale food!
